The quality of the learning and staff! It is hard leaving our girls each day, but since day 1 it has helped knowing that they are getting exposed to such a variety of high quality experiences by people who really care about them. We cannot recommend Step by Step Edina enough!!!

We're thrilled with Step by Step Montessori in Edina. The Montessori curriculum perfectly fosters our daughter Audrey's curiosity and independence. She loves the hands-on activities and the freedom to explore her interests at her own pace. The teachers are incredible - Audrey's teacher, Ms. Beth, is patient, encouraging, and incredibly skilled at helping each child blossom. The classroom itself is bright and beautifully organized, with plenty of stimulating materials that pique the children's interests. The teachers are what makes this place something truly spectacular. Both of my girls have been at the school since the infant room, and both have been positively impacted by so many amazing teachers in their lives who have loved them, and fostered an environment for growth and independence. They are treated with love, compassion, and grace, even on their hardest days… and I know they have some hard days. Nothing makes a parent feel better than knowing their kids feel loved at school. All the rest is just a bonus.

My preschooler absolutely loves going to his new school. His first day, drop off was terrible due to his prior experiences of other centers. When I picked him up from daycare that first day, he told me how much fun he had and about his “nice teachers”. He says his teachers aren’t angry, and his room isn’t dirty like his old school. Every day since, he walks right into the center and his classroom without any issues. I’m never walking into chaos at drop off or pick up, it’s very nice seeing the teachers having calm control over their classrooms. Beyond thankful to have my kids in a place where I know they’re being loved and cared for!

Our first experience with daycare centers were kinda awful. We made the decision to change facilities and found step by step in Brooklyn park. From the very first day til now, I gave never felt more comfortable and confident leaving my children at step by step.

It's a great safe environment. I feel like the teachers are very competent and great with the children. Also, they have a bunch of fun events during the month that get the kids involved and excited. I love this location and I honestly am so happy that my kids are enrolled.
